Last updated: 31 October 2026. WattRumo provides a heating cost calculator. Values entered into the fields and the calculated results are processed in your browser. They are not submitted through the calculator form to a WattRumo server.

Preferences saved in your browser

The Portuguese calculator may save valid input values in your browser’s localStorage to restore a previous simulation. The English calculator currently does not automatically store its input values in localStorage. These values are not sent by the calculator form to our server. To clear saved Portuguese calculator preferences, use the browser's site-data controls; resetting the form does not necessarily clear every browser storage entry. Shareable links can include simulation parameters in the URL; avoid sharing such a link if you do not want to reveal those values.

Usage analytics

The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated statistics on views, pages, general referral sources and loading performance. According to Cloudflare, this service does not use cookies, localStorage or individual fingerprinting for these metrics. See Cloudflare's documentation.

Hosting and technical data

WattRumo is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical connection information, including IP addresses, to deliver and secure the website under its policies and settings.

Advertising and external links

There are currently no contact forms or personalised advertisements. Informational links to external shops do not currently contain affiliate tracking identifiers; paid partnerships are not active. If this changes, this policy and any applicable measures will be reviewed. External websites have their own privacy practices.

For privacy questions or requests concerning personal data, email wattrumo@gmail.com. Formal identification of the data controller has not yet been completed.
